STEP 1. On a studded wall,before drywall, determine height of Mister Miser Urinal using the following chart. Install 2" x 2"s to hold urinal on the inside of both studs, and set them back 1 5/16" from front of studs. This is based on using 1/2" drywall.
STEP 3. Attach water inlet with a 1/8" NPT x 1/4" straight brass compression fitting into Top of urinal, at pre-threaded location according to local and state plumbing codes.
STEP 5. Connect to drain in accordance with local and state plumbing codes. Trap opening is 1 1/2" ABS plastic.
STEP 6. Attach door to hinges and insert nylon hinge pin.
STEP 2. Screw all four ears of the urinal into 2" x 2"s. Make sure urinal is level. Install drain, according to state and local codes.
STEP 7. This is what the Mister Miser Urinal should look like upon completion. To use, open door and aim on lower trough. To flush, simply close door and release. The door will pop back open approximately 1/4" after closing.
STEP 4. Attach water inlet with a 1/8" NPT x 1/4" straight brass compression fitting into top of urinal according to local and state plumbing codes. Screw ears into 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" nailer boards after carefully leveling the urinal.
STEP 5. Install 1 1/2" drain and insert vent stack into "T" running along side the urinal, according to local and state plumbing codes.
STEP 6. This is an example of what your hook-up should look like before finishing.
STEP 7. Attach door to hinges and insert nylon hinge pin.
STEP 3. If vent stack is required by code, you may cut off ears on right side and use second set of ears for installation, leaving vent stack space. Also, cut 1/4" from left side ears to position urinal to left side of opening.
STEP 8. This is what the Mister Miser Urinal should look like upon completion. To use, open door and aim on lower trough. To flush, simply close door and release. The door will pop back open approximately 1/4" after closing.
